MAN APPEARS IN GALWAY COURT OVER MOTHERS DEATH

A 25 year old Roscommon man has appeared in court in Galway charged with assault causing harm following the death of his mother.49 year old Ann Henry died after being stabbed outside her home in the Abbeytown area of Roscommon Town on Saturday afternoon.Her son Paul appeared at a sitting of Galway District Court earlier.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Harristown Court this Friday.
