MAJOR NEW HOUSING ESTATE FOR WEST SIDE OF CITY

Plans to build a major new housing estate in the West side of the city have got the go-ahead. Model Investment Partnership has got planning permission to build 109 new houses and a creche on a site at Mincloon on the Clybaun Road. City planners have given the green light to Model Investment Partnership's proposal to build 56 houses and 53 apartments fronting the top of the Clybaun Road at the junction with the Rahoon Road. There will be two new car entrances, one from the Clybaun road and one from the Rahoon road, as well as 129 car parking spaces and 83 underground basement parking spaces.
