Loughrea businesses urged to avail of fibre broadband service

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Loughrea Chamber of Commerce is urging businesses in the town to avail of a new fibre-power broadband network. The Chamber says Loughrea's bid to become a ‘fibre-town' will only happen if at least half of the town's businesses sign up. Interested companies have until the 8th of August to register their interest in the project, at which point construction work can begin on direct connections. Direct fibre connections will deliver instant access to speeds of up to 250 megabites per second, making it the fastest fibre delivered service in Ireland.
