The trial of a 73-year-old former Christian Brother charged with the sexual abuse of a young boy at St. Joseph’s Industrial School in Letterfrack during the 1960s is underway before a jury at Galway Circuit Criminal Court

The retired teacher, pleaded not guilty to six charges of indecent assault against one boy, which were allegedly committed at Letterfrack Industrial School on dates unknown between August 30, 1965 and April 4, 1967
