Leisureland Board to receive update on flood repair works

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Board of Leisureland will receive an updated report on flood repair works at the facility at it's AGM later today (fri jun 27). The board was informed last month that the pool would not re-open until October as a result of the storm damage from earlier in the year. At this afternoon's meeting, Vincent Finn from Swim Ireland and Roger O'Sullivan of the Salthill Traders Development Association will be made board directors. The community members were proposed for the roles by Galway City Council in a bid to ensure the aquatic clubs that use the Leisureland complex are represented.
