LEGAL ISSUES DELAY PUBLICATION OF REPORT INTO SAVITA DEATH

The Minister for Health has said there are legal issues delaying the publication of the report into the death of Savita Halappanavar.

31 year old Savita died at UHG on the 28th of October 2012, after suffering a miscarriage and contracting septicaemia.

Her husband Praveen has argued that she was denied an abortion.

Minister James Reilly says the report should have been with him by now - and says Praveen Halappanavar will be given time to see it before it's published.
