LAST EVER SITTING OF CARNA COURT

The last ever sitting of the District Court in Carna in Connemara is in progress today.The District Court sat on a quarter year basis in Carna for scores of years. The Office of the Court Services has decided that Carna will no longer be a Court venue and that cases from the Carna and Cill Chiaráin area will be heard in Doire Né and in Clifden.
