LABOUR RELATIONS COMMISSION GETS INVOLVED IN COUNCIL JOBS DISPUTE

Galway County Council management is to engage in talks with unions and staff representatives at the Labour Relations Commission this week to try to resolve a dispute over job cuts.Staff at the County Council voted in favour of industrial action earlier this month following the announcement that contract staff and other staff were being let go.
