Jury acquits city man of assault
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A 25-year-old city man was acquitted by a jury this afternoon of assaulting another man near Eyre Square on Christmas Eve three years ago.
Shannon Walsh, with an address at Lus Leana, Headford Road, Galway, had denied assaulting the 27-year-old Knocknacarra man, causing him harm at Frenchville Lane, (near Ceannt Station) in the early hours of Christmas Eve, 2010
