Irish Rail passengers warned over upcoming train disruptions
Services will be impacted across two days
Train passengers travelling between Galway and Dublin next weekend are facing some disruption due to scheduled engineering works on the railway line.
The works between Kildare and Portlaoise will see train services from Galway to Dublin terminating in Athlone, with passengers boarding buses for the rest of the journey, on September 19 and 20.
Passengers travelling to Galway from Dublin will initially be transported by bus before transferring to trains at Athlone Station.
Irish Rail has engaged M. Corduff Travel Rossport Limited to provide coaches and drivers on the Galway-Dublin route for the two days.
