Two men remain in garda custody this morning - after the discovery of a cross border fuel laundering operation in five locations including one in County Galway.
6 thousand 150 litres of fuel were seized in Loughrea as part of yesterday's national co-ordinated effort.
The operation involved the Criminal Assests Bureau, Organised Crime Unit, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Revenue Commissioners.
The two men being questioned this morning were among a group of four detained yesterday following a series of searches at five filling stations in Loughrea, Dublin, Westmeath, Offaly and Roscommon.
