INIS OIRR WATER RESTRICTIONS EXTENDED DURING THE DAY

Water restrictions, which have been in place on the Aran Island of Inis Oírr since last Thursday are to be extended during the day.

The County Council says it's changing the water restrictions from 2 cut-offs per day to 1 extended cut-off per day.

Water on the island will now be turned off daily from 11a.m to 6p.m to ensure that everyone will receive a tank of water a day.
