The husband of the late Savita Halappanavar wants employees of Galway University Hospital removed from the HSE inquiry into her death.
The Irish Times reports that Praveen Halappanavar will request through his solicitor that the three UHG employees be removed from the enquiry.
Those involved include Proffesor John J Morrison, a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology; Dr Catherine Fleming, consultant in infectious diseases; and Dr Brian Harte, consultant in anaesthesia and intensive care at the hospital.
Last evening, the HSE announced details of its inquiry into the death of Savita Hallapanavar at University Hospital Galway last month.
It will be headed up by Sabaratnam Arulkumaran a UK expert in obsterics and gynaecology.
He says the three consultants from Galway on the inquiry team were not involved in the care of Ms Halappanavar.
