HSE WEST TO AVOID GALWAY HOSPITAL FINE

The HSE West says it expects to avoid the hefty monetary penalty for not meeting targets on waiting lists at two Galway hospitals.
In a statement, the HSE says that by September, nine months is the longest any patient will have to wait for treatment, which is in line with Government targets.
