HOPES THAT HEAVY RAIN WILL HELP COUNTY'S WATER SHORTAGE

Date Published: 28-Jun-2010

It's hoped the rainfall overnight and today will help ease the water shortage in parts of the county.

Water conservation measures have been in place for almost two weeks in Inis Mór, Inis Oírr and Ahascragh.

A boil notice was implemented in Inis Mór as water is being transported over to the island in bulk from the mainland.
