HIQA to authorise additional nursing home beds in Galway
Galway bay fm newsroom -New beds are to be added at a county nursing home pending authorisation by the Health Information and Quality Authority.
The beds are expected to be added at Áras Ronan on Inis Mór by the end of October this year.
At a meeting of the Regional Health Forum West, City Councillor Catherine Connolly asked for an update on the waiting lists for Áras Ronan, and for Áras Mhic Dara in Carraroe.
