THE eight year-old Headford girl, Wiktoria Kubaczyk who was given a liver transplant in the UK is improving in a London hospital.

Her parents, Mario and Anna are Polish, but the family have been living in Headford for the past seven years.

Wiktoria (VICTORIA) was rushed to London for the transplant after falling ill with a mystery virus and her condition was described as 'critical' up to a few days ago.

But Headford priest, Fr Ray Flaherty, who visited Victora and her parents at the London hospital over a week ago, says there has been an improvement in her condition in recent days.
