HALF CONNACHT CONSUMERS BUY IRISH TO BOOST ECONOMY

One in two 50 percent of Connacht consumers chooses to buy Irish.

That's according to a new survey which shows that people in the west feel that buying Irish allows them to support the national economy.

In the study carried out by Amárach Research, 47 percent of all respondents in the west say they buy Irish as often as they can.
