GREEN DRAGON TAKES TO THE SEAS IN GALWAY BAY

The renowned racing yacht Green Dragon will leave Galway Docks this afternoon for the first time in two years.

The Irish entry in the 2009 Volvo Ocean Race has been in dry-dock ever since.

It's taking part in a promotion sail around Galway bay - leaving Galway Docks at 3 o'clock this afternoon, returning around 6.30pm - giving well-wishers a chance to see her before she sets sail for Holland next week.

The yacht will return to Ireland in a months' time.
