GARRY HYNES APPOINTED NEW PATRON OF GALWAY RAPE CRISIS CENTRE

Galway Rape Crisis Centre is to officially open its new facility in Forster Court in the city on Monday week (Jan 14).

The new premises will be opened by Druid Director Garry Hynes, the group's new patron.

The local branch had been based in Claddagh and is now moving to the larger facility to meet an increase in demand for services.

The Forster Court base is three times in size with an additional 8 counselling rooms.
