Gardaí will conduct further searches in the Glenamaddy area today as part of their investigation into a missing Glenamaddy resident.

A man and a woman, both in their 30s, are still being held at Tuam Garda station today in connection with the disappearance of Latvian national Juris Buls.

He's described as five feet seven inches tall with short blond hair and blue eyes, and when last seen was wearing a heavy work jacket with the inscription TITAN on the lapel.

Gardaí say they have 'serious concerns for his welfare' and are continuing to appeal to the public to come forward with any information on his disappearance.
