GARDAI AWAIT FORENSIC REPORTS ON MANUELA MURDER ACCUSED

The Book of evidence against a 27 year old city man charged with the murder of Swiss student Manuela Reido is nearing completion.At a remand hearing in Harristown District court this morning, Detective Garda Tony Reidy confirmed that the investigation team is awaiting forensic reports before serving the Book of Evidence on Gerard Barry. The accused, with an address at 187 Rosan Glas, Rahoon, has been on remand in Castlerea Prison since 19th of October last year. Detective Garda Reidy told Judge Geoffrey Brown today that he expects the Book of Evidence to be ready by the end of March.
