GARDA INVESTIGATION AFTER WOMAN FOUND UNCONSCIOUS ON SPIDDAL PROM

Gardai are investigating after a woman was found unconscious in the Spiddal area last evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident at the prom in Spiddal at around 6pm where a woman was found unconscious.
She was then taken to Beaumount Hospital for treatment of a head injury in what's understood to be a non-life threatening condition.
Gardai say there is nothing to suggest that she was involved in a collision, however all possibilities are being examined as part of the ongoing investigation.
