GALWAY'S AER ARAN SUSPENDS SERVICES AT WATERFORD AIRPORT

Date Published: 05-Nov-2012
Galway's Aer Arann is to suspend its services from Waterford Airport.
The Galway based airline - operating as Aer Lingus Regional - says the decision is regrettable but necessary because the Waterford routes have not performed to a sustainable level.
The suspension comes into effect from the 6th of January 2013 - and all Aer Arann staff at Waterford Airport will be redeployed.
Flights will operate as normal until January 6th - any passengers with bookings after that date will be contacted in the coming days and re-booked on alternative flights from other airports or given a refund.
