GALWAY WOMAN STILL IN CAPTIVITY IN EGYPT

A Galway woman remains in captivity in Egypt after being allowed cross the border from Gaza.Treasa Ni Cheannabhain from Barna entered Gaza illegally along with her daughter Naisrin to undertake relief work on behalf of the Galway-Palestinian Children’s fund.They were turned away on their return when they attempted to cross the border to Egypt eventually being let through on Friday.Miss Ni Cheannabhain's now being held by the Egyptian military and is unsure when she’ll be allowed return to Ireland.Her daughter who's an Egyptian citizen has been freed.
