GALWAY SMALL BUSINESSES TO RECEIVE RENEWED SUPPORT FROM EU

The European Commission is rolling out new initiatives to support Galway's small and medium businesses in exploiting international markets.
Services at the Galway Enterprise Europe Network office will be increased to include the most up to date EU and national financing information.
There will also be Information on how enterprises can access the 50 billion public finance through programmes at EU or member state level.
The enterprise europe centre is based at the Galway Chamber of Commerce on Merchant's road in the city.
Speaking to Galway Bay fm news, MEP Jim Higgins says the European Commission recognises that SMEs are key to economic recovery.
