GALWAY SENATOR WECOMES ANTI-BULLYING MEASURES

Publishing helpline numbers on school books will assist in the safety and well-being of teenagers.

That's according to Galway Senator Lorraine Higgins who has received confirmation that the Education Department will launch the scheme in 2014.

It's expected the numbers for agencies dealing with suicide prevention and anti-bullying will be displayed on up to 1 thousand primary and secondary publications.
