GALWAY RESIDENT FACES EXTRADITION ON ORGANISED CRIME CHARGES

A Lithuanian man - living in Co. Galway under an assumed identity - is facing extradition on organised crime charges.

Thomas Luote was detained at Tuam court house yesterday (tues sept 25) on a European Arrest Warrant and brought before the High Court last evening.

The 24 year old's wanted for prosecution on 2 charges dating back to 2008.

He's been remanded in custody until Tuesday week.
