GALWAY PROJECT FIRST IN IRELAND TO GO THROUGH EUROPEAN FAST TRACK PLANNING PROCESS

A planning application concerning Galway Harbour is to be submitted to Europe under the IROPI process in an effort to get it past possible environmental hurdles. This is the first such planning application under this process in Ireland.And it's understood that this planning system will also be used for a Connemara roads project.
