Galway man jailed for rape to be separated from other prisoners
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Galway man sentenced to life in prison for the rape of two young girls is likely to serve most of the term and will be separated from other prisoners.
The 30 year old was handed two life sentences yesterday for the attacks on the 6 and 9 year old girls after they went missing from a birthday party in Athlone last September.Former Governor of Mountjoy Prison, John Lonergan, says it's unlikely he will ever get an early release.
