GALWAY DEMONSTRATORS VOW TO MAKE CITIZENS ARREST OF TONY BLAIR

Members of the Galway Alliance Against War have vowed to make a citizens arrest of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair if he arrives in Ireland for a book signing.

Easons Bookstore in Dublin has scheduled the book signing for Saturday September 4th.

Galway Alliance Against War staged a lunchtime demonstration outside Easons on Shop Street in the city this afternoon, carrying placards and handing out leaflets.

They intend to demonstrate outside the shop every day until the decision to invite Tony Blair over for a book signing is reversed.
