GALWAY CYCLISTS CONCERNED OVER NEW PLAN FOR CITY AREA

Concern is being expressed by cyclists about the proposed enhancement scheme for the Small Crane area of the city.Galway Cycling Campaign has lodged objections to the new one-way street system planned for the area.They say the new scheme will make it illegal for children to cycle to school and illegal for children to cycle up and down outside their houses.GCC is proposing that a two-way traffic system be maintained for cyclists on the affected streets in the West side of the city.
