Galway consultant spearheads lung health campaign
Galway bay fm newsroom -A Galway consultant is spearheading a campaign aimed at maintaining and improving lung health.
Respiratory physician, Dr. Anthony O' Regan says about 22 percent of admissions to acute hospitals relate to respiratory disease.
On top of that, about 15 percent of the population have chronic respiratory disease such as lung cancer.
The Irish lung health alliance is hosting a series of free public lectures including one at Croí house in Newcastle tommorow evening at seven.
