GALWAY CHAMBER TEMPORARILY DISABLES WEBSITE AFTER HACKING

The Galway Chamber website has been disabled while an investigation into a hacking incident yesterday is carried out.

A group called millihack, thought to be from Turkey, hacked the homepage of the Chamber's website placing its banner across the screen.

Chief Executive, Michael Coyle is hoping there has been no major breach and that the site can be re-established with the relevant codes changed.
