GALWAY CANCER CENTRE NOT MEETING TARGETS

The Galway University Hospital group, GUH, is not reaching its targets on breast cancer tests because of capacity issues arising from resignations and retirements.
That's according to the HSE which has released its performance report for June 20-12.
It reveals that last month GUH and its satellite unit at Letterkenny failed to meet the referral target for 'non-urgent' cases.
