Funding being sought to tackle Galway hospital overcrowding
Galway bay fm newsroom - The West/Northwest Hospital Group is looking for funding to tackle overcrowding at hospitals such as University Hospital Galway.
A meeting took place today at Merlin Park between HSE representatives, Oireachtas members and members of the Regional Health Forum.The meeting comes as surgeries were deferred at UHG this week due to overcrowding at the A&E department.Senator Trevor O' Clochartaigh says they were told by HSE representatives that funding it being sought to tackle overcrowding.
