Former Craughwell developer granted bail in court
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Former Craughwell-based developer Kevin McGeever, who's charged with wasting Garda time, has been granted bail.The 68 year former businessman claimed he had been kidnapped, when he was found on a roadside in Leitrim in January.
Kevin McGeever had been reported missing in May 2012 and was found on a road in Leitrim last January.He claimed he had been held captive but later admitted lying about his claim of false imprisonment and was arrested.New bail terms were agreed in the High court earlier this week when McGeever could not come up with the original bail money.According to the Irish Indepdent, at Harristown Court today he was granted bail.
