Any proposal to build a new road through Terryland Forest Park in the city will be regarded as a 'dark day for democracy'. That's according to the'Friends of the Forest' group, who are fearful the Headford Road Framework Plan contains plans to widen the Dyke Road and build a major link road through Terryland Forest Park. The community group has been campaigning to have the plan published since Spring 2008. A petition of ten thousand names against the road proposal has already been presented to City Hall.
