The father of Claregalway jockey Jamie Kyne is thanking communities across Galway for their support over the past few months.
18 year old Jamie Kyne from Kiltrogue died alongside 19 year old Jan Wilson after the block of flats where they lived in Norton, North Yorkshire was set alight by Peter Brown.
The British Labourer was found not guilty of murder but guilty of the manslaughter of Jamie Kyne and his Scottish flatmate at Leeds Crown Court yesterday.
Gerry Kyne says local communities really helped the family get through several difficult months.
