Dublin investment company acquires city shopping centre

A Dublin based investment company has closed a 27 million euro deal to acquire Edward shopping centre in the city from NAMA.

Signature capital was selected as the preferred bidder for the centre last year, but the purchase was finalised only last week.

The Sunday business Post reports NAMA provided staple finance to the company to fund the deal.

The shopping centre was developed by Gerry Barrett.
