Church of Ireland Reverend Patrick Rooke says he's looking forward to the challenge of becoming the new Bishop of Tuam.
The current Dean of Armagh will be ordained as a Bishop to the diocese of Tuam, Killala and Achonry at a ceremony in Armagh tomorrow at 4pm.
The new bishop has strong family connections with Mayo, where his mother's family is from and is married with three children, Emily, Nicholas and Susanna.
He succeeds the Right Reverend Dr. Richard Henderson who has moved to the diocese of Carlisle in the Church of England.
