Decision due on successful bidder for replacement of Crumlin bridge

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A decision on the successful bidder for the replacement of Crumlin bridge in Inverin is expected in the coming week. Six expressions of interest have been received by Galway County Council and are now being assessed by consultants. The structure is located on the R336 between Inverin and Rossaveal. Work will involve concrete repair in and around watercourses and environmentally sensitive locations. A suitability assessment is now to take place. A decision is expected in the next week.
