DECISION DUE ON SPORTS FACILITY AT CORRANDULLA SCHOOL

A decision is due next week [Jul 23] on the contruction of an all weather pitch at Corrandulla National School.

As part of an objection to city planners, locals living close to the school say such a development would only worsen the present dangerous situation regarding access and parking to the school.

It goes on to say that planning permission should be blocked until adequate parking facilities catering for the schools is provided, and that proper access for parents and buses delivering children is also provided.
