CRUNCH TALKS ON GALWAY AIRPORT UNDERWAY

Galway airport management will meet with bank officials this afternoon in an attempt to salvage a rescue package for the Carnmore facility.

The airport is facing being put into liquidation in the coming days, unless agreement can be reached on its future.

Staff at the airport are currently staging a sit-in protest, over the company's refusal to pay redundancies.
