CROI GETS GREEN LIGHT FOR RESIDENTIAL AND EDUCATION CENTRE IN NEWCASTLE

The West of Ireland Cardiology Foundation CROÍ is building a new residential and education centre in Newcastle in the city. City planners have just granted it planning permission with 29 conditions attached. The centre will be used to accommodate relatives of heart patients undergoing surgery and to educate and train people about all aspects of heart disease. The community, education, and heart disease centre will provide support and advice on heart care for the community. A Community Cardiac rehabilitation centre will also form part of CROÍ House for recovering heart patients.
