Craughwell businessman to appear before court over alleged abduction
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Craughwell property developer Kevin McGeever will appear in court today in county Roscommon to face charges in connection with his alleged abduction.
The 68 year old - who was found on a roadside in Leitrim in January - claimed he had been kidnapped by a gang and held hostage for eight months.Mayo born developer Kevin McGeever was being pursued by investors and creditors when he vanished in May last year.Last night, he was arrested in Clontarf in Dublin and taken to Gort Garda station, where he was charged in connection with his alleged abduction.He is due to appear before Strokestown District Court in Roscommon this morning.
