CRAUGHWELL BUSINESSMAN PURSUED OVER DUBAI PROPERTIES

It's reported that the Craughwell businessman who appeared in Leitrim two weeks ago after an alleged captivity is being pursued by investigators who claim they are owed money for unbuilt apartments.

According to the Sunday Times, 68 year old Kevin McGeever is the subject of complaint from investors who say they received no return for deposits they paid on properties in Dubai.

The property developer, who is originally from Mayo, was reported missing to Gort gardai by his partner in June.

Mr. McGeever is being treated at the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar as Garda investigations into his alleged abduction continue.
