Councillor to raise concerns over Knockdoe traffic calming measures
A Galway county councillor is calling for the design of traffic calming measures at a site on the busy N17 to be re-visited.
Independent Councillor for the Oranmore electoral area Jim Cuddy will raise the issue of the Knockdoe junction at this afternoon's meeting of the local authority.
Councillor Cuddy told Galway Bay fm news he has serious concerns about the junction and wants the council to review the layout.
24 year old Martin Naughton from Bodane Tuam died in a single vehicle crash at Knockdoe this day last week.
