COUNCILLOR LASHES OUT AT CITY MANAGER OVER OCCUPY GALWAY PROTEST

A Galway City Councillor has lashed out at the City Manager for failing to offer any update on the Occupy Galway protest in Eyre Square.Councillor Padraig Conneely says City Manager Joe O'Neill is refusing to answer questions about the Eyre Square encampment.He stormed out of a Corporate Policy Meeting earlier today when Joe O'Neill failed to update councillors on what's being done to remove Occupy Galway from Eyre Square.Councillor Conneely says 6 months have passed and still the City Manager and the City Council have failed to take action.
