Galway City Council has turned down plans for changes to a city centre snooker hall.

Richard Byrne had applied for planning permission to alter the elevation of Victoria Snooker Club and also to extend the Victoria Hotel into the premises.

The application for the Victoria Hotel development states that it's a short-term proposal.
